Langara College was founded in 1997. It was founded as an autonomous public college under the Provincial College and Institute Act on April 1, 1994. Langara College is a populace degree-awarding institution in Vancouver. Vancouver is a coastal seaport municipality in western Canada, situated in the lower mainland area of British Columbia.
